Care Continuum Alliance organization presence and opportunities
Because disease management is relatively new to India, significant effort will be needed to build awareness of its value among medical professionals. The Care Continuum Alliance can contribute to this process by sharing its experiences and promoting the advantages of incorporating population health management in the medical practice. This can help chart a definite growth path for disease management and the Disease Management Association of India (DMAI). DMAI is formed to promote and increase the practice of preventive care and chronic care management in India.
